Conference "Partnership in the Seventh Framework Program, Thematic Area of ICT"
04.05.2009The "Partnership in the Seventh Framework Program (FP7), Thematic Area of ICT “ (ICT Information and Brokerage Event) conference took place in Belgrade on the 20th and 21 May, to which the participation of over 200 researchers from Serbia, the region of Western Balkans and the countries of the European Union are expected. The conference is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development, the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society, the Directorate General for Information Society and Media of the European Commission, in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the WBC INCO.NET project.
The First Ministerial Conference in the Field of Digitization Held

The regional seminar and ministerial round table on the transition from analogue to digital broadcast of television programs was opened in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, which gathered more than 19 high-ranking delegates from Central and Eastern Europe. The Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society of Serbia organized the event in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union, a specialized agency of the United Nations, of which the Republic of Serbia was one of the founders as far back as 1866. This is the first ministerial conference in the field of digitization which is held in our country, and the Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Dr Hamadoun Touré, and Minister Jasna Matić opened the event.
World Telecommunication Forum in Lisbon

Organized by the International Telecommunication Union –(ITU) and the Government of Portugal, the World Telecommunication Policy Forum (WTPF) was held in Lisbon from 21 to 24 April 2009. The International Telecommunication Union was founded back in 1866, and the Republic of Serbia is one of its founders.
